Minority International Research Training
MIRT Program Overview
MIRT is an international research experience that prepares students for a career in biomedical research. The long-term objective is to increase the number of underrepresented minority faculty in biomedical science.
Students on the SDSU/UCSD/University of Minnesota-Duluth MIRT Program conduct biomedical research at an international site for up to three months. Students on our MIRT program have conducted biomedical research all over the world.
On the MIRT, students must complete two written projects:

| 2) | A Paper on Cultural Observations of Scientific Ethics in the International Country |
